Aside from viruses, consider spam and phishing attempts. Checking for all
of these represents extra load and delays on the mail server

Do any of your users use Internet Explorer?
Search for IE vulnerabilities. In each vulnerability, replace the
phrase "a malicious web site can..." with "an arbitrary person sending
you e-mail
