First, I want to thank all of you for the time, resources, and money that you
have put into hosting an Open MPI mirror web site. Your contribution to the

The server for this mailing list will be migrating sometime soon (the exact
timing is not fully predictable). Three things you need to know:
1. We'll send a "This list is now closed for migration" last message when the
migration starts
2. We'll send a "This list is

point).
Please switch to using the git method for mirroring.
Thanks!

Greetings Open MPI mirror sites!
Mirror admins: we have a question for you.
One of the primary reasons we started the Open MPI web site mirror program was
to help out those for whom bandwidth is expensive. I.e., the idea was that
users could use a local mirror and greatly decrease both web sit

Sorry for the delay in replying -- Supercomputing, the US Thanksgiving holiday,
and travel to the MPI standardization committee meeting got in the way.
We're very sorry to see you go. Thanks for hosting us!

Have you been able to check the output from $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"]? That's
what the PHP code is checking to determine which footer tagline to display.

Greetings Dan, and thanks for your offer to mirror!
I tried each of the URLs you listed below and got a 404 on all of them.
Have you not setup the mirrors yet, perchance?

Per our brief discussion a little while ago, the Open MPI web site has moved

Greetings Open MPI mirror maintainers.
We are contemplating moving the Open MPI web site from a SVN repository to a
git repository.
For those of you who keep up to date with the Open MPI web site via SVN: would
you care if we move to git? Would it be a problem for you?
To be clear, instead of
Perfect!
I've enabled your mirror in the listing; you'll get it at the next update.

Oops -- I missed the initial email on this. :-(
I just replied on the other thread.

So sorry I missed your initial mail!
I've added you to the mirrors.txt file. The next time you update, the jolly
roger flag should disappear and be replace with the flag of India. If that
happens properly, we'll enable the visibility on the mirrors listing.
Thanks for mirroring our web site!

I've enabled your mirror in the listing; you'll get it next time it updates.

How often does your site update?
It's been almost 24 hours and I still see the jolly roger flag on your site,
which means it hasn't updated.

Added -- thanks! (Sorry for the delay)
I added you as a non-visible mirror for now, so the jolly roger should go away
on your next automatic update.
Once that disappears (and we can therefore see that updates are working), I'll
make you a visible member on the mirror list.

Sorry for the delay in replying.
You're up and listed on the site; your Jolly Roger flag should disappear the
next time you update.
Thank you for mirroring us!

I probably do not audit our mirrors list as often as I should. I just checked
all mirrors today and found the following:
Way out of date / haven't updated in a long time
www.open-mpi.de
open-mpi.homosu.net
icl.cs.utk.edu

I'm so sorry to do this -- for reasons that are totally uninteresting,
we were forced to change the repository name (and therefore the URL) of
the Open MPI web site. As such, anyone using Subversion for mirroring,
the next time your cron job tries to "svn up", it'll get an error
because the reposi
