Hi all, I've got an IBM ThinkPad T41, dmesg below, and the appropriate docking station, 74P6733. Said docking station has a serial port on it. I can't find any referance to serial devices in the dmesg, and trying cu -l /dev/cua00, and indeed cua01 and all the rest, gives device not configured.

If it's anything like the T42 the serial port is disabled by default in the bios, it is included in the laptop but you need something like a port replicator/docking station to get a physical connector. After changing the bios option it should just work, you can even have the system console/ddb on
