Same laptop, same model, same problem I was just upgrading from ver 6.1
through all the versions up to 6.6; it went ok (except versions 6.2 and 6.3
where I had strange resolution, but it was ok when I upgraded to version
6.4) 6.5 was fine and when I finally upgraded to version 6.6 s
Well, I at least have a tangible error now. Observing through wpa_cli, I
get the following:

Is there any easy way to determine which lock is hot?
Mostly from morbid interest & curiosity about gruesome
detail of the current filesystem implementation.

I just needed to swap out “psk” for “password” in my file. All working now.
