I have a removable disk that I want to auto-mount. However, it may not
always be present. If I put an entry in fstab for it, will the system be
able to cope even if the disk is not present?
Is there a better way to do this?
hotplugd(8) can probably do what you want.

Hi Mark,
I checked my gen 4 X1 Carbon and it has both TPM and AMT, though I
have AMT turned off in the bios. I also have secure boot turned off
so I don't have to mess with TPM stuff. Suspend/resume has always
worked fine on this machine in obsd 6.6-6.8. I have never used gen 2
or gen3 X1s,
This is odd, as I have 3 X1 laptops, gens 1, 4, and 5 and
suspend/resume works fine on all of them. However, I am still on
openbsd-6.8.

Hi,
I'm sending the below bug report to misc@openbsd.org as I have
deliberately not configured my OpenBSD workstations to be able to send
mail -- they are mostly used by my children -- and a bug report sent
directly to b...@openbsd.org never seems to have arrived. Hopefully this
email does
Good afternoon,
I built up a samba server which is coupled on an infrastructure with
other Windows servers.
It has sometimes error messages when copy which I tracked to being from

Dear List!
We have very interesting problem!
We are reinstalling a OpenBSD firewall (6.1 -> 6.8), and we connect new
servers to firewall.
We replaced firewall for the duration of the update, is not currently
production use.
Test configuration:
- Dell PE210 II (Firewall) 2x Broadcom BCM5716
Many thanks, I will check out the article.

Hi,
Is it possible to protect an entire Lan subnet with a Wireguard tunnel? I have
a OpenBSD server hosted at Vultr with static public IP and a local home
firewall (OpenBSD) with wireguard configured. Both local firewall and server
can ping each other using Wireguard tunnel.
I am confused on
