Hi -
I've been running lighttpd from ports as web server on one of my
OpenBSD systems for years, with no problems. Ever since upgrading to
6.9, it's been crashing every few weeks, and the last lines in the
lighttpd error log are something like this each time:

Are you running an older version of OpenBSD? I fixed this back in January :

The talk title was
Recent and not so recent changes in OpenBSD that make life better,(and
may turn up elsewhere too)
The talk as an article (very close to what I actually said) is available
here:

Thanks so much for giving
Let me preface what I'm about to say: I'm a long time Linux user, but I'm
very much a novice to openbsd. I know the list says to "do your homework"
before posting here, but I don't even know where to begin to do the
homework you're suggesting.
Here's the error I'm getting while attempting to

Picked up a 4K display (LG 27UPS650) and it's gorgeous. Bright colors,
crisp, lovely. The console fonts and some application fonts are now
dialed in WRT size.
But application menu bars have tiny icons and tiny titles, and their
man pages don't address that. Do those settings live in libraries I'm
Hi,
I tried installing OpenBSD on an Oracle Cloud arm64 VM. Here's what I
did:
1. Download the arm64/install69.img
2. dd if=install69.img of=/dev/sda conv=fsdatasync bs=4096
3. echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger
During step 2, I downloaded the install69.img into /run, which is a
ramdisk.
Dear all,
I tried to use portgen to semi-automatically generate a port for a go
project with a capital letter in the name.
It failed with a cryptic error. I commented out the code in Port.pm the
place which retries to generate a name for everything other than Perl
(p5), and it worked.
