PCI NIC passthru with 7.4 as vm with ESXi 7.0

Hello All I have tried to fully pass through one of my ports on a 4port 1gb PCI-E NIC (BCM5719 ). Trying with OpenBSD 7.4, it can 'see' the NIC but it doesn't appear to get traffic, also appears to state 'No Media' as shown below (dmesg). bge0 at pci11 dev 0 function 0 "Broadcom BCM5719" rev 0x01

hi all a couple question about my fde first, i have fde setup using a keydisk on my laptop, encryption and decryption works fine when i reboot with the key inserted it doesn't find the key, i have to shut the machine down and restart it then the key is detected, is this normally how a reboot works
