Hi all,
Upgraded from 5.2 to 5.3 i386, using my usual config I've had for a
number of years. Unfortunately I cannot ping6 a single thing, not even
localhost, and bgpd (patched with the March 15th patch) won't start via
rc.conf.local (all other daemons work). I've tried reinstalling the
kernel

pass quick inet from 224.0.0.0/7 to any flags S/SA keep state (if-bound)

You pay for Mac OS when you buy a Mac. So what is the sense
to install another OS on it?

Hi,
I've got a Vaio VPC-X131KX, an 11 Atom based ultraportable. It comes

if anyone comes across a batch of these drives (1.8 44-pin travelstar;
they have been discontinued), pipe up, I am sure there are some other
developers with these machines that might want to pick up a spare.
How about specifying the model / specs needed for dev? I've got an old
Vaio SR31K available (has ACPI but some hw is not working, especially
PCMCIA) . Newer Vaio hardware uses a different sensor chip for hw stuff
so it wouldn't be that useful (I'm using a TX1-XP ).

Hi all,
I've been using RAIDFrame on OpenBSD since 3.1 and in 4 years I've
never seen any performance improvement in getting the system to work any
faster at rebuilding parity after a hard shutdown. I've tried RAID1,
RAID5, SCSI drives, IDE drives, processors from PentiumII 400s to
Athlon64

Hello...
Im trying to install openbsd 3.8 onto a sun ultra 30. The box has a scsi
cdrom and a scsi hdd, and no floppy drive. I am using a cdrom burned
with the small cd38.iso image to try and install with.
When I boot the cdrom, it says:
ok boot cdrom

Yes, if OpenBSD supports EFI booting. Those new Intel Macs use the
Itanium (and future x86) method, not clunky old bios. But I've been
unable to find out if
