Need help securing SMTP (thunderbird says it's not encrypted)

I have an OpenBSD 6.1 box set up with OpenSMTPD and Dovecot on Vultr (a VPS provider). This machine is intended for use as my primary mail server. I have a Let’s Encrypt certificate installed and declared in the smtpd.conf file like so: # $OpenBSD: smtpd.conf,v 1.9 2016/05/03 18:

Sendmail X License reverted back to same as Sendmail 8

Now that the license is no longer "less free" as Sendmail 8, I am wondering/hoping that someone might port it to OpenBSD. Working with Sendmail 8 makes me lose hair! I would much rather use less hairy configure scripts :) --- Paul.

Sendmail X License, is it free enough?

I was wondering what the powers-that-be think of the new sendmail X license, now that it has been released. Is it free enough that it may be supported in a future version of OpenBSD? Or should I look to an alternative? Thanks --- Paul.
