What I don't understand is why most cards perform very well on FreeBSD, but
fail to perform on OpenBSD...

Any ideas?

Hi list,
I have got an interesting problem here. When I use a CF card on Geode LX-800
board, the performance is extremely low (about 1MB/s for reading). I suppose
it is not a hardware problem: Under windows, the performance of read/writes on
the CF is fine.
This is what I get in dmesg:
pciide0
Just a shy question - if version 4 CDs have been shipped already, there
*should* be a downloadable version laying around somewhere, shouldn't it ?

Hi,
I am trying to get OpenBSD (up to -current) to run on a AMD Geode LX-800.
It seems that OpenBSD has problems to recognize the fpu and it panics with
npxdna vector not initialized upon the first df issued on the shell.
NetBSD works fine on this machine.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Stefan
