By using *roxterm *or *mlterm *instead of *xterm*, it works like a charm ! So
freebsd and openbsd use a different xterm.

I know wine port has been stopped. I wonder whether or not it is
applicable to port wine to OpenBSD ?
Wine works great on FreeBSD, why cannot it run on OpenBSD ?
