My Thinkpad T480 has worked very well. Everything works on it.
Though, there is a fingerprint scanner I have never tried. It even
does sleep very well, unlike other laptops I have had (and with other
operating systems I have had).

Laptops with built-in Intel wifi will give you 11ac with up to 300
(three hundred) Mbit/s. Any of AX200/AX201/AX210/AX211 will do.

Lenovo Thinkpads usually work well. I can speak for L14 model.
The only feature not working out of the box was wifi. But you
can buy a USB dongle to compensate for that.
