Sorry for the long delay, been a bit busy lately.

I wanted to try the patch against current but the code has already been merged 
for obsd 5.4. So I tried the card with two SPF SR 1GbE and it's working fine ! 

The adapters are detected as expected as em0 and em1.

I suspect the person who asked never tried the patch so it didn't go in.
Try it and let us know if it works.
