Layered softraid

Hi, I read a long time ago that layered softraid wasn't supported, and when looking recently I didn't read anything which suggested that had changed, however on the off-chance I tried it out and it seems to work ok - at least in limited testing with 4 disks in 0+1 configuration. Is
