Hi *, I've a box running proftpd with pf/ftp-proxy. The box is quite old but runs fine (GENERIC#35).
Today, It started to get timeouts while connecting to the FTP server. Session is established (syn, syn+ack, ack) then nothing! Later, the welcome banner is displayed (>60"). Then the normal FTP session is performed. In the proxy-ftp logs, I see: "client is dead; server is alive" What does it mean? Regards, Xavier -- Weird enough for government work.
