After several attempts I could not get any action out of the mouse
(actually it was a model 800 wireless kb and mouse, not 1000). I gave up
and bought a wired kb and used a wired ms mouse I had lying around.
The box didn't say OpenBSD compatible so I guess that's why it didn't work.

i think that the mouse calibration could be an easy problem to sort
out after spending a weekend on it
Tried a MS wireless "media" kb and mouse, model 1000. Ohh, that was a pain.
xev showed that a scroll up was a mouse button 1 plus mouse button 4. It
showed me how it could open 45 xterms in half a second. I took it back.
Now I'm trying a MS model 1000 wireless kb and mouse. This mouse does no
