GRASSROOTS GROUPS TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE IN SPRINGFIELD United for Missouri and United for Missouri’s Future will hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, at their Springfield headquarters, 910 West Battlefield. Beverages and hors d’ouevres will be served. The public and media are invited.
Carl Bearden, executive director of both groups, will be the host. United for Missouri and United for Missouri's Future are Springfield, Mo.-based grassroots organizations, formed in July, which are committed to educating and mobilizing citizens about the impact of economic policy in their local communities and in the state.
