Hm, that may be a traktor control record issue, because I'm not seeing
the same behavior with my serato record. if the record is spinning
fast, and I drop the needle, it instantly plays back that fast.
If you try the same thing in xwax 0.6, does it work correctly?

some testing on your current features_xwax 2360 with Traktor Vinyl on OSX
10.5.8 at 5ms latency.
- vinyl status box does not work in Trancer-DJO-3 skin ( missing code in
skin.xml ), it is fine in Trancer-DJO-3-fullscreen.

I did some more hacking on the features_xwax branch. Please let me know
if this improves / ruins the behavior. the major change is in CONST
mode, which works like this:
* if you were in vinyl mode, and you switch to CONST, mixxx will keep
playing the track at the previous rate (same as before).
