recorded some really old film from a VHS tape, which i want to bring to
DVD using this command(s):

Finally i solved the problem that i don`t get a video when recording
with lavrec (1.9.0/CVS), now video records fine but no audio is recorded
at all.
What command did you use ?
But with xawtv playing the video from the source VHS tape i can hear
audio, mixersettings are set
