Thanks, good to know - so I know that it's no use that I keep trying at
the moment, and can go on with funnier things like playing with the
other mjpeg tools (glav is great, I wish I had a sound editor which can
handle such large files).

Yes, I tried it with 7, but it really didn't seem to help.
