Preston, there is a HUGE following here in Northern Virginia. Get togethers
at least once a month, parties, and a bunch of other stuff. Not sure how far
you are, but we have quite a few people who make the trek from Richmond and
the tidewater area. E-mail me privately for more info.

I'm from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. We have weekly GTG's in
Virginia Beach. So far, it's only a small number (between 5-15 cars). I
hope it's something that grows, cuz I know they are out there.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong:
I disconnected the black/brown boot behind the throttle body. This is for
the O2 sensor, correct? It's just one wire.
I hooked up a voltmeter between the terminal on the black connector and
ground. It read .6 volts at idle. It also read .6 volts when I cracked

So, if I disconnect the coolant temp sensor, the car runs pretty well. It
stubles a bit just off idle, but at least it runs. This is with the DPR
plugged in.
I also checked the values at the DPR. With the coolant temp sensor
disconnected, it reads about 3.4mA. With it plugged in at idle, it
Found this on auto trader. Looked up the area code and it looks to be in the

A mustang can also handle really well if it's properly setup. It's a
primitive suspension design, but so is the suspension in OUR cars. ;)

Check your fluid level and hoses first, I know when mine were stock they had
a tendency to crimp in the area coming out of the front of the resevoir,
which starves the pump.

That was the first car I ever rode in that would catch rubber in all
4 gears. I only got to drive it once and had a helluva time getting
off the line - probably b/c the rear tires were smoking so heavily at
the time.
I used to have an 89LX and it was fun but pales in comparison to the

VW in performance, only in tight twisties can a VW keep up. It's like
comparing GT and GTS cars to each other. Only thing is, most mustang
