I've got Tokicos with their 1-1/2" drop springs. With
Teardrops running 195/60-14 tires and I get front
rubbing at >>full<< lock only. No rubbing while driving,
even pushing pretty hard (but admittedly not at autoX
limits). I did notice rub marks inner front wells before
installing suspension,
I got some rubbing from turning the wheel with 195/65-14 snow tires on my
'88 GTI w/ stock suspension at almost full lock. 195/55/14 and 195/60/14
never ever rubbed, but the suspension wasn't lowered, so YMMV.
What is the distance from the wheel center to the wheel arch lip there?
