No problem. I have a batch job running that uploads fresh coastlines to
[1] every day. I will move this to our company webspace somewhere
underneath [2] eventually.

Does mkgmap add POI information (street, house number, region, phone, etc.)
also to points
with 3-byte TYP IDs with format 0x1xxss (e.g. 0x11501) or is this only done for
IDs with
format 0x0xxss (e.g. 0x01, 0x2e; with or without subtype) ?
I want to assign different Garmin Typ IDs to POIs
To reply to my own post and to let others know, I can confirm that the
OSM based OpenFietsMap works as expected on my brand new eTrex 30.

I'm glad to hear this. Can you check if they improved the rendering
of this kind of roads:
cycleway:right = track

In Mapsource/Basecamp the cycleway is drawn on the right side of the road, but
the
modern GPS types like Oregon and Dakota draw i
attempting to split up daily planet files on australia into smaller pieces ,
but the program only reads 17,5000 nodes and then drops dead .
