I mentioned this problem of rounding off with v small maps , ie area 5km^2 before as it causes the basemap not to match the min max of the map itself. However changing the values in the tdb has no effect I've had to match the values in the 'overview.img' to those found in the actual img .

No there is nothing on the map... I tried it with the default style, no custom background, didnt use precomp-sea I cannot select and send the map to the device, too I placed your mkgmap.jar file into the mkgmap-r2526 folder and renamed it. do you see the details when you zoom in? Gerd
