Hi I checked it using echotags and it seems that mkgmap declares 'building' as Boolean. Unfortunately, this means it can't parse building=chapel which is an accepted osm tag. ie I have amenity=place_of_worship building=chapel [0x2c0b resolution 16] this gets completely ignored. I reckon

Hi Gerd I'm using a modified version of the default style which shouldn't really make a difference but amenity=place_of_worship building=chapel { echotags chapel} doesn't get any 'hits' whereas amenity=place_of_worship building=* { echotags chapel} does . The building in question is :
