Hi Gerd,
I have compiled map of Poland using r3942, search looks OK in nuvi 1440,
but we don't have characters like 'Æ' or 'ß', so I probably can't test
your problem. I'm downloading data for Europe, will compile and test it
later.
The only glitch I have noticed is in Mapsource. It looks lik
road test so far is ok on montanna 680 T ,
but Today i will do a address search with it from home to clients and see
how It goes.

thanks for testing. The problem with my Oregon is that it doesn't find any of
the characters in the expand section.
You are right, it might be an error in the SRT file which is ignored by the PC
programs and also by my nüvi.
I've already fixed one error (see

Hi Andrzej,
I can reproduce the search problems with your poland map from 2016, but not
with one created with the default style and r3942.
The only problem that I see is that MapSource and Basecamp list the entries in
a rather strange order, see attached picture.
