while generating the baselayer, there is the following error message:
GRAVE (LocationHook): ..\osmdata\ncxapi.osm: Disable LocationHook because bounda
ry directory does not exist. Dir: bounds
(the file ncxapi.osm is generated by
quite interesting!!!

I am making some transparent map to overlay it with an orthophoto in
photoshop (as the WMS-feature ist not jet available.. ;-) )

Hello,
Does mkgmap support STOP or GIVE-Way signs for routing? It is
acutally interesting to know if the calculated route will bring you in
front of a STOP...
If the sings are tagged like described here

? I am not jet 100% sure that the issue is
really triggered by the highway=motorway. But maybe someone before
has already spend enough time to do all the trial-and-error testing
for this...?

Hello,
I was not really able to pin down the cause of a routing issue I
obtain on both nüvi 755 and Oregon 550. (using mgkmap 1652)
If I was routing to the node

the message No street found near the destination (free
, and that it supports automatic
routing (my eTrex does not support routing but the eTrex Vista HCx does,
so be careful).
I have heared that the GPSMAP 60 HCX does perform well with mkgmap,
but I did not try it by myself.

I have just merged the topo .osm file and the regular osm file using
JOSM, but in this case it is not possible to switch of an on the topo
data.

a real gps.
Sorry, I don't know what is causing the problem you are seeing.
Did you also try the two .img I put in the ZIP?
Maybe the error occur only using the a real GPS (I use nüvi 755).
Strange... can someone confirm?
