Hi Mark,
I've tested the patch on today's geofabrick extract of Italy. It seems to work!
Great. I've tested the produced img on mapsource and nuvi255 and both works
fine.
Let me thank you for your work on this ancient bug. Rome thanks you too...

Unfortunately I've not been able to find a better solution than putting as

motorcycle=no {set motorcycle=yes}
It works, but the resulting map is only good for cars, not for motorcycles...

Sorry if I ask something already discussed.
How can I make a map that is serchable for addresses? Is there a specific
tagging in OSM to make search working (the search for address in Italy in my
nuvi 255 always find no address match).
And what about street numbers: is it supported in any way?

Hi Marco,

Is there a
Nuvi 255 here. Route recalculation works very well now (25/30m). I remember a

Mark, do you have some advice about OSM tagging for address search?

chars I input, as soon as I select the address I look for, it says no match

Hi,
As far as I know the map only stores the road_speed and road_class (not the
speed in km/h: association road_speed vs. speed is demanded to Garmin devices
or mapsource).
The turn time penalties I tested was depending on the road_speed (but I presume
the penalty is proportional to the
