Hi all,
I want to merge the branch. I don't have much more time to
improve the code, so all I want to do is fix severe errors.
I think the best way to find out if it works is to do the merge
and see what happens. Unfortunately, I'll not have time to fix
things during the next week, so please
Hi Gerd
Sorry for the late answer, i'm have to spent some time for my job ;-)
You're right, there's really no inc/access, it looks like an error, but i can
find every address on a polygon, that i have searched for, tested with my O650
On the other side, there are only six messages, 'houses not
Hi Gerd
you're right, it should be inc/address.
After adding this to inc/polygons i didn't get any error messages for DACH.
IMHO you can merge housenumbers2 to trunk

Hi Bernd,
got no feedback yet. Does it mean you found no errors?
I ask because I still don't see inc/address in your polygons file,
but I see the line
addr:housenumber=* {set mkgmap:execute_finalize_rules=true}

Hi all,
I think I've now found a solution for most of the known problems
reg. address search, for details see svn log:
http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/websvn/log.php?repname=mkgmapisdir=1;
The remaining work to do is cleanup and maybe performance
improvements, I don't plan any more significant
changes
Hi Gerd
thank you for the good work
i'll test the new version against my styles, after reading the doc ;-) , and
give a feedback if there are problems.

I'm using it, but I didn't test it systematically. Until know I'm
happy with the results.

Hi all,
did anybody test the branch during the last days?
I think about reverting some of the changes because I see too many
strange results caused by the fact that mkgmap tries
to name unnamed roads. What works well in one part of the world
causes total nonsense in others, and I fear I am not
to the building.
(not all of the good ones have the tag highway=service)

Hi Thorsten,
thanks for reporting. I fixed the endless loop with r3467.

Hi Steph,
I can reproduce the problem with a download around the way 24813533.
It also happens with r3467.
Looking at it now.

Hi all,
I think r3466 is now stable enough for a first public test.
It is fully compatible with trunk r3449.
Improvements compared to trunk:
1) Number nodes are now supported. A number node
is a special node, house number intervals start and end with
a number node. In trunk, only route nodes
Hi Gerd,
Thank's a lot !
The compilation and some routing tests are OK.
Test for address searching coming soon...
