Hi Steve,
thanks for the explanation. I thought that I also used
ant dist
without creating a new jar in the case below, but I am not able to reproduce
the
problem. So it was probably me doing something wrong.

This dist directory is only used for making the distribution
and the jar file is not used at all by anything else in the

Hi,
I think the build.xml is missing something.
I tried to test the recent changes in the resources (default style).
My dist/mkgmap was on r2523 and I used
svn up
to update to r2526 . Only files in the resources dir were changed.
Next I used
ant clean test

You are missing a jar file on
Thank you Steve - this solved the problem.
Another problem - I can't get splitter to work with pbf files. It fails
with a message starting:
"Splitting OSM-Data\great_britain.osm.pbf. Please wait
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

Inside an argument file you can only use the options with a double
hyphen. For a file name this is --input-file, so inside the file you
could have:

I am attempting to build a gmapsupp.img file by combining multiple .img
files with mkgmap.
It works fine when the files are listed on the command line, but not
when they are included in a data file with the -c option.
My command line is:
java -Xmx1000m -jar mkgmap.jar --gmapsupp -c filelist.tx

I can confirm, that r1701 does not crash any more.
Thanks for the fast fix.

Is this problem already solved with r1700?
Otherwise I have to admit, that I do not know how to run mkgmap with a
log.prope
Hi Torsten,
I can confirm that this is a problem of the MultiPolygon code that has
been changed with r1694. Attached patch fixes that.
But I am not sure in what situations the bug happens. Could you do me a
favour and run mkgmap with the following log.properties file?

Moin,
I have a problem with mkgmap version r1699: it crashes while generating my maps.
With r1673 everything was ok.
It does not seem to be related to the style, I tried different layers of my maps
and all are crashing.
I use the following mkgmap command line and get this error message:
