This looks to be the same bug that I am experiencing, using Mnemosyne 2.0 (not
Portable version) on Windows 7 x64. The program hangs after selecting a number
for grading the card, and when restarted, it will give me the same sequence of
cards, starting two or three cards before, and will hang at

Okay, I tried creating a new database with 12 cards. Tes
Current data indicates that it's a problem with certain database files
rather than with the actual program. Can you try creating a new dummy
database with a few dummy cards and see if that hangs?
If that works, feel free to mail me your database privately.

Like Scott, I have also noticed that 2.0 frequently hangs in 64-bit versions of
Windows 7. In 32-bit Windows, it seems to work without problems.
Does the recent development release do anything to improve performance in
64-bit environments?

I am using the portable version because I am not allowed to install software on
the office PC where I've been using it, so I don't really know if the same
problem occurs on the desktop, but I c
Do you have the same problems when running it from the desktop?
What exactly happens during the crashes? Do you get an error message?
The only known problem I'm aware of is that on some Windows machines, the
program occasionally hangs when displaying an image. I have not been able to

Hello,
I've been using Mnemosyne Portable for a while now, but I've noticed that the
recent 2.0 release crashes quite frequently. If anyone has any suggestions
about what might be done to prevent it from crashing, I'd love to hear them. I
really like how it works right up until the inevitable c
