Hi,
Perhaps there is a firewall in between them which block this traffic? It's
always best to try this with machines on the same network first.

there are both connected via wireless to my home network. I use the windows
fire wall and allowed mnemosyne to communicate through the fire wall.
Still the same "could not connect to server" message.

I just installed 2.3.1 yesterday. Firewall is turned off. Still the same
problem.

hi peter,
today I changed passwords and the initial sync with an epmty default database
seemed to work and it said sync succesful.
Then I created one card and tried to sync this one but now it says "sync
failed, restoring from backup. next sync will need to be a full sync" on my
server pc and a
