Getting couch base and sync gateway set up on T2.Micro was a breeze. Thanks! The only part that took me a bit was getting the sync gateway to run as a service. This is what I now have in my /etc/init/couchbase-sync-gateway.conf I run it by saying: $ sudo service couchbase-cync-gateway start

I realized that wasn't very helpful, here's a really rudimentary/non-automated-quick-and-dirty way to a sync GW in about as much time as it takes to sign up for a cloud provider: 1) Start an AWS instance using an ubuntu 14.04 AMI (a t2.micro is are free for the first year). Using the AWS managemen

Hosted Couchbase + Sync Gateway, Best bang for the buck?

Hi, With the recent issue with sync gateway being down for a long time, I'm wondering if what people are doing as alternatives. I'm still in development phase (i.e. app not launched) I have a handful of users testing my app. I'm looking for hosted options for both couchbase and sync gateway.
