hi, I got a chanse to try windows 8.1 phone few days back, the builtin
narrator can be use as an screenreader. the servis is not perfect but
you can use the basic functions at least.

yes the getthere app works but as its in beta u wont see it in the
playstore u have to join the getthere google group then click on a
link and click become a tester then download the test version and as
getthere is made for vi its 100% accessable the only problem with the
app is its only for walkin

My suggestion would be to purchase iPhone if you don't like android.
I don't like android gestures. Myself.
IOS is simple. And things can be established easily.
Android has less accessible apps however, iOS has the most accessible apps.
