Hi, I've heard of Microsoft launching their office apps for Android but never tried any of their app and won't know their accessibility. However, for reading commonly file formats, use At Voice Aloud reader. Also, Quick office is available for Android for editing and viewing word files.

Your keyboard might be set up to some other keyboard then google us keyboard, go to language and input settings, and select google us keyboard as the default keyboard, and there you go. If not, then try to download the google us keyboard from the playstore, and set it as the default.
