Hello All
Been looking at an issue on my embedded device. Have previously been using
SierraWireless MC7430 and Huawei module without issues.
I have recently changed to try a Telit 910 and a Quectel EG21-G and get :

Hey Alex
I am trying a new modem on my system and some weird things are happening.
Trying to get the gps to come up but its not being shown as available but the
mm debug shows there is a port there. Wondering how I can debug this to get it
enabled ?

Hi Ahmed
Do you have an antenna connected? Is it an active or passive antenna and can
the antenna see the sky. Most antennas are only sensitive enough for line of
sight of the satellites.

Hi Thomas,
I use MM with different modems and the preferred interface to configure and get
data is to use the dbus interface. It is fairly simple and reasonably quick.
I can send you some sample code if you like or just look at the nmcli code as
that uses all the dbus interfaces to talk to MM.

Hello All,
I am using ModemManager to perform GPS logging and it works really well with
most modems.
I have a SierraWireless MC7710 and that works beautifully with qmi and logging.
I also have a Huawei MU609 and that works but something slowly causes
ModemManager to consume 100% CPU.
