Item #1- Seattle show people-Saturday night I will be either at Hamburger Mary's or the Breakroom having a beer or twelve before i head down the hill to the Showbox. The U-D sux ass and is too far away from downtown. Fremont is kool, but even farther away from downtown. (a car i have not) So, i reiterate, Capitol Hill is the best place to meet. If anyone wants to make definite plans, e-mail me off list. Otherwise, i think i'm wearing a blue t-shirt that says P-23 on the back to both shows if you wanna say hi. Short blond guy. Item #2- I'm the one who posted the first anti-fratercrombie and bitch/modest mouse thing. Yeah, I'm stupid for messing it up, it was apples in stereo playing in the store, not MM. I am a retard. BUT...Amy has many good points about this issue (and thanx for backing a retard like me, and yeah GAP clothes are flattering, but way to expensive) How long do you think it will be before they do play MM in places like A&B and the Gap? I didn't see anyone disagree w/ me about my sterotype of A&B wearin' people being stupid and annoying. I would feel personally offended to hear MM in those types of corporate stores. I wall shut up about this issue....now. Item #3- I noticed while most people love the new album, a few weren't so stoked. To these people i say: just wait. and listen. I got a promo awhile back, and i was kinda turned off at first...the production was overwhelming...i liked the live versions of the songs better...etc,etc...but after listening to it a bunch, it totally grew on me, and i can't take it out of my stereo. I'd have to say it's the best ALBUM, album meaning how the songs relate to each other thematically, as a cohesive statement in music, not just album=a collection of songs. As a collection of songs i like all the albums more or less the same. I guess what i'm saying is don't worry, the M&A fawkin rocks, just be patient. --- -dave fallout in the GAP Angelfire for your free web-based e-mail. http://www.angelfire.com
