Hey there everyone in Modest Mouse land!!! I got the new CD yesterday. I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been hearing mixed reviews. However, I think it's amazing. I love it. I'm going to see them on Saturday at the Showbox in Seattle. Home town show. Should be good. I've seen them twice before and they were great. They can never meet up to their studio sound live but the raw energy they put forth makes you feel alive like you've never felt. The last show I saw them was with 764-Hero, another great Seattle band. Anyway, Issac totally goes off durring "Doin' the Cockroach" and as he's whaling on his guitar his eyes are shut and he's stomping his foot really hard on the stage. He gets so into it you can hear his foot stomping over all the super loud PA system and guitar amps. It was amazing. I though he was going to put a hole in the stage. I look forward to the show Saturday. So does anyone know what they've been playing at the live shows this time around????? NEil
