First, instro groups.. I just picked up new Japancakes and Turing Machine.. both similar instro groups who just jam.. you can get both CD's or vinyl for $10 or so, good luck on napster, I never found them. I'd say pick up Japancakes first before their second though. Fat Albert.. I have nothing but fond memories of them.. I only remember the good things like conflicts they worked through and them all having a good time. Big deal if they talked like they were from the ghetto or maybe seemed a little lazy.. did they ever go to school?? I'm sure all my questions would be answered if I could just watch it again. The PJ's seems to have the same sort of bad PR.. lots of blacks with a voice in the world say it's offensive to portray blacks like that.. however whether they speak for the majority or not.. no one really knows.. I guess someone is watching it.. it hasn't been cut yet and I was sure it would be.. it's a funny show if you give it a chance, a good mix of humor both low brow and high and a lot of good characters.
