8. First live show?
---------- jawbox, redd kross, meat puppets, and stone temple pilots at the
gorge in george, washington. a truly incredible place, and the stp will
always have a place in my heart, if only for exposing me to jawbox (though,
with the exception of off-shoots and the latest album, the music hasn't ever
gotten that bad)
9. Worst live show?
---------- yikes. . .difficult. seeing dub narcotic and modest mouse open
for diamond fist werny sucked, if only because the crowd was fucked, and
there is no way in hell that diamond fist werny should have even been on the
stage (same with the first band, beatseed. . .lame)
10. Favorite sound?
--------- and then, all 448 wheels of the 56 skaters began to pulse across
the cracks in the rink linoleum in and out of synchronicity, causing a sound
not unlike the beating hearts of 4 or 5 simultaneous trains

---------- anything heard under anesthesia before i am unconscious,
pre-surgery, as it manifests itself into incredible pain and annoyance in my
