Steely Dan III was a big red dildo in the book Naked Lunch.  But otherwise, 
as far as I know, it was never a widespread term or nickname. . .just what 
someone in a william burroughs book named their dildo.  and the joke about 
lovin' spoonfuls' name (like 10cc, supposedly the amount of ejaculate a male 
produces (sorry for that one, kids), it turned out to be that. . .a 
rumor/joke.  like the rod stewart stomach pump thing.  the lead singer 
explained the meaning of the name once. . .i just don't remember it.)
