and you guys are just making my point, so thank you for 'busting me.'  that
point would be, by the way, that we can't just accept these media-created
'fatal flaws,' incidents from the past that may or may not have occured,
and even quotes that may or may not be accurate (or even attributed to the
right politician--as pointed out) as an indication of what these guys are
all about.  i'm just saying, hate them if you want, but don't maintain
vacuous political views shaped by idiots.  

and i don't know where those quotes originiated--everytime they're sent to
me or i see them on a site or in print, the latin america one is attributed
to gore.  i don't really care because these aren't the  sorts of thing i
look to to develop my opinion of politicians.
