guterson is in the scene where all of the japanese are being loaded up and taken to the camps. they all walk down the street and all of the citizens come out to watch. there is a brief shot of guterson holding a baby in his arms and slowly rocking it. has anyone read his latest novel by the way, East of the Mountains? i would highly recommend it if anyone here likes gutersons style. i finished it last night. he also has a book of short stories, The Country Ahead of Us, the Country Behind. cade __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
