conan also seems to be a heavy supporter of this here 'indie scene' 
--- he's had built to spill on at least once that i know of and ben 
folds five about thirty times.  (from what i understand, bff was on 
when they were still techincally an indie band that no one had ever 
heard of.)  and andy interviewed pavement a year or two back, so...

i *DEFINATLY* wouldn't complain about seeing modest mouse on 
a late night show.  that is, as long as it was announced beforehand 
so i could actually get the vcr ready.  that, and if it wasn't leno -- i 
*HATE* jay leno.

and also, to make my friend joe (who's lurking on the list) happy, i 
saw blair witch project on saturday.  i was really looking forward to 
seeing it, and wasn't disappointed.  sure, it wasn't the scariest 
movie ever; but i feel it was worth the four bucks.  and i can 
honestly say that it was a lot better than the new austin powers 
film...
