Ok so I know exactly why I don't like the new album as much as Interstate

prefer the other albums except for the self titled ep with the fruit that
ate itself on it. First off I made an extreme point of not listening to

so i already had a copy, but because i'm just a junkie, i had to get a copy
or two... at the shows in la they were handing out cards that said if you
preordered a copy on one day you either got the night on the sun thing, or
you could get a poster (signed?) for free... the next night they were

they were better last summer at the TLA, they were very very laid back last
night, the gaps were just too damn long to keep me interested

hi all.
saw something about the new modest mouse in AP. said a lot of the songs
are shorter and (gasp) radio friendly. it came out really dark even though
thats not really what they were shooting for. all of the instrument tracks
are done, so i guess its all vocals then we get record in april.
I was talking to Eric Judy last night and him and jeremy are back in town
for awhile, taking a break from their new record. They are recording with
some guy, I can't remember his name, but they used their recording money
to give to these guys to build a new studio and so they are recording
their
