Hi,
I am about to install apache 1.3.11 and wondering
whether the "old" mod_perl 1.21 will work with this new apache
version, because e.g. mod_ssl has already been updated.
Or should I wait for mod_perl 1.22?

I compile apache-1.3.11 with modperl-1.21 on redhat6.1 using the script
#!/bin/sh
# mod_perl config
perl Makefile.PL \
APACHE_PREFIX=/home/local/apache \
APACHE_SRC=../apache-1.3.11/src \
DO_HTTPD=1 USE_APACI=1 EVERYTHING=1
as suggested in INSTALL.apaci
Everything works fine until I get to
try editing /mod_perl-1.21/t/TEST line 83
give your server more time by increasing the sleep time
that will probably help...

Hello,
The guide touches on something like this at
http://perl.apache.org/guide/browserbugs.html#Preventing_QUERY_STRING_from_get
But I'm trying to fixup query strings that I don't have control over.
CGI.pm complains when it gets a bad query string. For example,
53) ~ %setenv REQUEST_METHOD
test - i have not received much traffic today.
just testing the system.
