it's actually really quite simple. just take a look at the several modules
on CPAN that use it. Apache::Dispatch, Apache::RefererBlock, and
Apache::Language all come to mind. for the names and meaning of the
constants involved, check out http_config.h.

I am having a nightmare trying to get some PHP into the output of
a Perl script. PHP. I've heard rumours of Apache 2.0 allowing multiple
filters, which would be perfect when it's out, but not yet obviously.
