Does anybody know where I can find information for installing and running
AxKit under windows (is this possible?).
I looked on axkit.org but didn't find any guidance.

Yes, although it is not considered a primary platform,
so you are mostly on your own with this. You can
install it via ActiveState's PPM as follows:
