Job Description :
SportsLine.com is looking for a System Administrator with excellent Perl
programming skills to work on the various in-house applications and systems
used for managing all aspects of the network.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, maintain, and support
scalable, backend applications used in managing system and network
operations.
* Work in all phases of a rapid product
development lifecycle
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience with the Perl
programming language
* 2+ years of experience with System
Administrative aspects of Red Hat, Linux and Sun Solaris.
* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (M.S.
a plus)
* Experience developing/designing large
software systems
* Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing
environment
* 2+ years working on medium to large scale
networks.
* Experience with HTML, Java, JavaScript,
Apache web servers and mod_perl is a plus
* Knowledge of switching/IP routing a plus.
