1. Problem Description:
I'm trying to build mod_perl 2.0.2 on Solaris 8 against apache httpd 2.2.2.
I've seen other references to httpd 2.2.x on the mailing list archives, so
would I be correct in assuming that mod_perl2 is supported on with httpd
2.2.x series?
The make itself works fine,
Supporting both APIs _and_ sending patches to the dev list seems
contradictory. If I made a version that supported both APIs, I wouldn't
expect that version to end up in a future mod_perl 1 or 2 release.

Eventually, that'd be fine. I don't want that to be a barrier for an
initial independent release.

Has anybody figured this out yet? Is there going to be a new version of
mod_perl coming out soon that fixes this problem? It seems pretty serious...

I just upgraded to httpd 2.2.2 and tried to install mod_perl. This upgrade
was made on top of my existing 2.2.0
